My name is Eugene Portman and I am a professional jazz pianist who performs around Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Cornwall, Dorset and other areas of the UK. I am available as a solo musician, a duo, a trio, a quartet and a quintet. I can provide you with anything from non intrusive solo piano music up to a foot tapping jazz band. The music that we perform is not high-brow but consists of songs made famous by the likes of Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Tony Bennet. Although the repertoire is familiar - the arrangements are usually different from what you usually hear. This combination of familiar tunes with original arrangements makes us the ideal choice for any special occasion where you are looking for entertainment that is accessable but different from the norm.
I also work with Alice Harvey, Sheila Daniels, Phillip Browne and David Edwards who are four outstanding jazz singers who perform songs from the Rat Pack and the swing era.

As stated earlier I perform as a jazz pianist around Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Cornwall, Dorset but I'll all other areas of the UK both as a soloist and a combo player.
