Bedbugs:(to be made into a printable pdf so that clients can print:
To achieve the best results from a bed bug treatment, it is important to carry out the following steps:
Before the Treatment
ü All floors, curtains and upholstered furniture should be thoroughly vacuumed to remove animal hair, debris, eggs and pupae. Particular attention should be given to harbourages such as bedrooms and other sleeping areas. (The vacuum bag must then be disposed of in a plastic bag in an outside garbage can.)
ü All bed linens should be removed from infested areas and washed on the hottest wash possible.
ü Curtains and clothing in the infested areas should be checked and washed if needed.
ü All personal possessions and items such as toys, books, clutter, must be removed from the floors, including in closets.
ü Any cardboard boxes used for storage near the infested areas should be emptied and discarded in plastic bags.
ü Wardrobes, nightstands, drawers, etc should be emptied and the contents inspected for infestation.
ü Tiled, concrete, wooden, and any other hard floor surfaces should be swept or vacuumed and washed.Ensure that aquariums are removed or covered and that the filter and pump are disconnected.
Following treatment
ü Ventilate upon re-entry to the treated area by opening doors and windows.
ü DO NOT wash floors or baseboards for a minimum of 8 weeks following treatment.
Please Note
Bed bug activity may be observed for a couple of weeks after treatment. This is not unusual and may be due to newly hatched bed bugs, which have not yet come into contact with the insecticide. The insects will eventually die. If you are still seeing activity after six weeks, contact our office and we will organize for any additional treatment that may be necessary.

Wasps/wasp nest removal
Wasps tend to nest in the eves of roofs/roof cavities and outbuildings and become more aggresive as the summer goes on.
Control is quick and effective provided there is direct access to the wasp nest.
Cockroaches:Cockroaches are one of the most commonly noted pest insects due to their large size. Since they feed on human and pet food, they can also serve as vectors for disease transmission. General preventative measures against household pests include keeping all food stored away in sealed containers, using rubbish cans with a tight lid, frequent cleaning in the kitchen, and regular vacuuming. Professional pest control is recommended to ensure the complete control of the resident poplulation and proofing to ensure against any further infestation .Any water leaks, such as dripping taps, should also be repaired. It is also helpful to seal off any entry ponts, such as holes around baseboards, in between kitchen cabinets, pipes, doors, and windows with some steel wool copper mesh and some cement, putty or silicone caulk.
