Born in Sardinia, Italy, Daniele Amatori is a Free lance Bass Player with many years of professional experience. He became first call Bass Player for his quality playing, versatility and fast learning. He played extensively with several Bands collaborating also as a session player for music studios and professional artists, appearing in local and national TV programmes.

Before moving to Bologna, where he studied at the CFM music college and toured Italy, he participated in Music Seminars, Clinics (such as Jimmy Haslip, Alain Caron, 3 days full intensive with Gary Willis and the Tribal Tech) and took private lessons studying classical music, blues and Jazz.

In London Daniele studied at the Guitar Institute (Bass Tech) where he participated at several master classes held by some of the best professional musicians on the globe.
Whilst in college, his clean technique and versatility became so notorious that its own classmates took private lessons from him and one of the Guitar Institute?s Teacher, Tolis Zavaliaris, asked him to join his Fusion Band.

After completing the Bass Diploma in Popular Music, gaining Distinction and winning the Award of best Bass Student, Daniele continues to work from London with Italian artists, bands and he is a session player for Mosike` Music Studio in Sardinia.

He recently collaborated with Guitarist Dario Cortese (teacher at the Guitar Institute and columnist of Guitar Techniques Magazine) on an Article for The Guitar Techniques Magazine. He is currently recording for Italian Acid Jazz Band ?Bluavio? and Tolis Zavaliaris`s Fusion Band. Daniele plays 4, 5 and 6 String fretted-fretless Bass and teaches many different music styles (funk, rock, blues, jazz, pop, reggae, folk, fusion?) and techniques (finger-style, slap, picking, muted grooves, harmonics, tapping?)
