Gallery Invigilator position

The Parlour is looking for friendly, open, enthusiastic individuals to oversee and invigilate its forthcoming exhibitions from October onwards. You will be providing information to visitors on the exhibition and artists, dealing with sales, and general front of house customer service.
The position is sadly unpaid, however, it will be an excellent opportunity for those wishing to gain more experience in the gallery environment.

Availability:
Friday 10th October 6-9pm (Private View opening of the exhibition)
And at least 3 of the following Saturdays 12-5.30pm:
Saturday 11th October
Saturday 18th October
Saturday 25th October
Saturday 1st November
Saturday 8th November

Person Specification:
Reliable, trustworthy with a strong interest in contemporary art
Good interpersonal skills as well as spoken and written English.
Preferable but not essential: exhibition upkeep experience
