Job Summary
We are seeking Business Analysts who have experience of successfully delivering technology based business solutions. Conchango Business Analysts work within multi-skilled teams to deliver innovative technology based solutions to our clients.

Our current projects span from the replacement of existing company intranets to the introduction of completely new e-commerce systems and marketplaces. We work across a wide range of delivery channels including intranet, internet, interactive TV, and wireless.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst with Conchango you will work closely with client IT and business personnel to analyse client requirements, design and implement solutions to meet these requirements. You'll be working as part of an integrated client/Conchango team in a highly interactive environment. You'll be a key part of the team and expected to take the initiative in ensuring that the business needs of the client are fully met by the solution.
As part of the role you'll be finding answers to the following questions:

* What does the client want from the project? Is it achievable?
* How do the objectives fit with the clients existing business and IT capability?
* What issues have to be addressed with the solution?
* What is the optimum design of the solution?
* Is the client bought-in to the proposed solution?

You will typically be working as part of a multi-skilled team including project management, strategic, technical and creative design personnel looking at all aspects of the solution. Business Analysts often have the opportunity to work on the full lifecycle of the project.
Qualifications and Experience
You will probably already have a range of skills from a related IT or business background, with the creativity and enthusiasm to deliver in a challenging environment. Your skills are likely to include some or all of:

* Structured Analysis and Problem Solving (knowledge of specific methodologies and UML would be advantageous)
* Requirements Analysis and Process Modelling
* Change Management Appreciation
* Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
* Strong Oral and Written Presentation Skills
* Understanding of the Capabilities of IT to Deliver Business Solutions
* Agile / Scrum

Industry specialist knowledge in one or more of the following industries:
* Retail
* Consumer Packaged Goods
* Financial Services
* Energy

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:
* eCommerce
* Systems Integration
* Business Intelligence
* User Interaction Design
* Mobile/wireless business technology based solutions

As a highly regarded professional services firm we seek people with very strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build relationships with senior client and partner personnel.

Travel throughout the UK is an integral part of the job, as you will be primarily working at customer sites and should expect this to be around 80% of your time. Therefore you must be able to drive and be happy to commute or work away from home during the week if the client site is not a commutable distance.
