Busy London Salon Needs Experienced Waxing & Beauty Therapist
cucumba is an innovative and fast-paced Soho-based minispa looking to immediately employ 2 highly motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven, positive, life-loving, self-confident misfits.
The 2 very exciting positions we need to fill are for experienced therapists.
This wonderful opportunity is open to people with vision and in possession of an entrepreneurial spirit, as all positions have fantastic potential for growth and development.
If you have tried various other things (be it law, accounting, tour operations, restaurant management, media, whatever) but feel that your passion lies in encouraging others to fulfil their potential whilst not taking it all too seriously, then we may have a home for you.
We may not take it all too seriously, but we are very serious about making people feel good and turning that frown upside down.
Therefore;
cucumba people must have a healthy balance of both technical and human/interpersonal skills.
Technical skills:
Minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and minimum of 2 years experience in a range of therapies and cross-trained in:
Massage Therapies (Aromatherapy Massage & Full Body);
Facials;
Waxing (especially Brazilian/Hollywood);
Brow Shaping (with threading if possible);
Manicure & Pedicure;
Wet Shave;
Reflexology;
Any additional skills are an advantage.
Additional Experience:
Salon/Spa Management;
IT Skills;
Resource Deployment;
Cash Handling
