Management Accountant - Major Chinese Bank

This job is for the London operation of a major Chinese bank. The Management Accountant will assist the Bank Financial Controller with the efficient financial control of the Bank including cost, financial and management accounting, tax, treasury and reconciliations.

The Management Accountant will:
- Assist with all aspects of financial control for BOC UK and BOC Branches
- Prepare and manage the annual budget process
- Assist with the preparation of the bank UK financial statements
- Provide backup contact for Auditors on all parts of the audit, from planning stage to final sign off for the bank UK branches
- Assist with Taxation matters, including corporation tax, withholding tax and VAT
- Be responsible for all FSA and Bank of England reporting
- Be responsible for the development of the MIS reporting
- Be responsibile for the development of a Treasury management reporting function

Experience required

- Qualified accountant, for example: ACA, ACCA, ATT, CIMA
- Experienced within Financial Services industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Mandarin advantageous
- Knowledge of Management Information Systems advantageous
- Database management, design and reporting preferred
- IFRS accounting experience
- Treasury product knowledge
