Simple Theatre is a small, friendly theatre club for school-aged children. Our emphasis is on teamwork and enjoyment, to promote a confident child. Children are invited to join us to take part in our productions - we have two each year. The club runs every Saturday during term time, from 2pm - 4.30pm.
After Easter we will be casting for our autumn production of Disney's Alice In Wonderland. There are 19 featured roles, and plenty of scope for chorus. Children will need to attend the workshops and auditions, and will then be given a rehearsal schedule, so may not have to come every week (so time off for sleep-overs etc!). There is a fee of £20 each term for insurance and membership, and the sessions then cost only £8 each. You only pay for the sessions the children are called to.
