I like to break my lessons down into three parts:

1 Theory- I give the student some basic theoretical knowledge, to help to understand the background of the music being played.

2 Practice- When learning a new piece of music, it's the repetition of the difficult parts, sometimes taking it slower than you expect, which really gets results... pratice makes perfect!

3 Fun! At the end of the lesson I like the student and myself to play something easy, so we can have an extended jam and use music for its primary purpose- enjoyment!

These are my teaching areas: Shepherd's Bush, Hammersmith, Chiswick, Kensington, West Brompton, Acton and Ealing.
