Fuentes de Nerja is a centrally located private complex very close to the Torrecilla beach. This building enjoys a large communal pool open all year round with a communal garden. A short walk takes you to the bustling old part of the town of Nerja with the Balcón de Europa, a favourite site with local people and visitors alike and many cosmopolitan restaurants, cafes and shops.

The accommodation comprises a kitchen with fridge-freezer, oven, 4 ring ceramic hob, oven, washing machine, toaster and kettle. The living room has 2 sofas (one of them a sofa bed) and a dining table with seating for 4.

There are 2 bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. The apartment has television with Spanish, English and German channels.

Outside off the lounge there is a sunny terrace with side sea views as well as views to the complex with a small table and chairs. The apartment is suitable for children, the elderly or disabled but wheelchair inaccessible. There are electric radiators for our short winter and cooling fans for the summer. This complex is only a short stroll to all the amenities of the area. It is comprehensively equipped with all necessary items. Other facilities nearby include supermarkets, hairdressers, rent-a-car, restaurants, shops, etc. Local activities include swimming, walking, cycling, horse riding, golf, tennis, water skiing and fishing.

Nerja is unspoilt by high-rise holiday development and retains its unique Andalusian character of whitewashed houses, windows with grilles, roof with two slopes etc. Nerja is not just a summer resort; it retains its unique charm all year round claiming the best climate in Europe. This is in part due to the surrounding Almijara mountains with its pine-clad slopes which shelter the resort and provide stunning views and ideal countryside for walkers. Nerja boasts many small coves reached by walking the Paseo de los Carabineros from Burriana to the Balcón.

The nearest eighteen hole golf course is Baviera Golf, situated in La Caleta (Velez Málaga) only 15kms from Nerja and Añoreta Golf Club which is 30kms away in Rincón de la Victoria near Malaga city.

Málaga airport to Nerja by car takes approx. 45 mins (50 kms from Málaga). Taxis are easily available at the airport or you can take a bus from Malaga. There is an excellent bus service between Nerja and all major towns and villages. A trip to some of the nearby villages (Frigiliana, Cómpeta, Algarrobo) which form part of the Wine Route is a must. These attractive villages retain a clearly Moorish air. Granada is under 2 hours drive by car.
